Important Information
Recess Snacks & Lunches
Many students are starting to request snacks at school. Although we do have some emergency snacks on hand, we are not always able to keep up with the demand. Please remember to send a full lunch and a recess snack to school with your children each day. If you are experiencing difficulty with having enough to send to school with your children, please let the school know and we will try to help if we can.

Spirit Day
Our next Spirit Day is this Thursday, June 13. It will be Backwards/Opposite Day. Students are invited to wear their clothes backwards … we may even try to do some fun backwards kind of activities.
We will continue with the ranked favorites list as we begin again in September before setting our new list for next school year.
Parking Concerns
Please remember that the area immediately in front of the main doors and to the south, is a bus zone and there are no parking signs in place.
In order for everyone to be able to drop off and pick up their children, please use the remaining space along Chaparral Drive as a quick stop only. If you are wanting to get out of your vehicle or stay at the park, please park further down or around the corner in order to let other parents stop and go during drop off and pick up. We thank you in advance for your help.

Weekly Mantra
Seek new experiences. (SEL Competency: Self-Awareness, Social Awareness)
Meeting new people and trying new things can be hard. When we experience something new, we start to see things in different ways. We grow and we can connect to situations that we couldn’t before. Doing new things can be scary, but it also might be rewarding.
