School Conferences March 21 and 22

Our March Conferences are coming soon.

Kindergarten Conferences are held for a full day in Kindergarten on Thursday March 21. Kindergarten & Grade 1-6 parents are invited to book in the evening on March 21.

All grades are invited to choose Friday, March 22 in the morning.

Please book the day and time that works best for you. The booking system will open to families to choose a time on Thursday, March 14 at 4:00pm. There will be an email with the link for you to access the booking system.

Please note that each class is offering these conferences in their own way.  We are asking that students be part of the conference so that they can show off their learning to their parents. Teachers will communicate how the conference will be presented with your children. Some will be mostly student led, while others may have more teacher involvement, all will have a student component. We look forward to sharing their learning with you.

Spirit Day

Our next Spirit Day is March 14.  It will be Crazy Hair Day. Students are invited to wear their hair in a fun and interesting way!  It is a great way for personal expression of themselves.

Moving Forward, the Spirit Days for the rest of the year are:

  • April – Stuffie and a Flashlight Day
  • May – Favorite Colour Day
  • June – Backward/Opposite Day

We will continue with the ranked favorites list as we begin again in September before setting our new list for that school year.

Weekly Mantra

I am Good. (SEL Competency: Self-Awareness, Self-Management)

What does ‘good’ mean to you? Do you consider yourself to be a good person? You can be wrong, or make a mistake, and still be a good person. Think of a time when this was true of you.
