Spring Concert – Imagine a World
We are happy to share that planning has begun for our Spring Concert, inspired by the book Imagine a World by Ron Gonsalves – the same book we use for our school mantras.
There will be two shows, both during the school day. Watch for a sign-up form coming home next week. Each family will have room for two people to attend one show – either Thursday afternoon (April 30) or Friday morning (May 1). Specific times will be on the form.
APEGA Science Night
Our Science Night is back! The APEGA team is planning to return on Thursday, April 2. This is a fun evening of science-based activities that all families are welcome to come and enjoy. Bring the whole family!
Parent Workshop – April 16
Author Visit: Angela Murphy

Location: MidSun School Gymnasium
Cost: Free
This workshop is being brought to our community through a joint effort between Chaparral School and MidSun School. Angela Murphy, author of Angela and the Wonder Pups, will be visiting our school community for a special parent and guardian learning opportunity. This 90-minute session will focus on supporting children's well-being, emotional regulation, and connection through Angela's work and resources. Funding is provided through an ABE grant.

From School Council
Our next School Council meeting will be Wednesday, March 12 at 6:30 PM. This is our SDP and Budget meeting – an important one to attend if you would like a voice in planning for next year.
Spirit Day – March 12: Book Character Day! Students and staff are encouraged to dress as their favourite book character. We can't wait to see who shows up!
