Science Night

Our Science Night is back! The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) team is planning to return on Thursday, April 2.

This fun, hands-on evening of science-based activities is open to all families. More details will be shared in the coming weeks.

Parent Workshop with Author Angela Murphy – April 16, 2026

In collaboration with MidSun School, we are pleased to welcome author Angela Murphy (author of Angela and the Wonder Pups) to our school community this spring.

Thanks to partnership between our local schools and ABE grant funding, we are excited to offer this free parent/guardian workshop:

Parent/Guardian Workshop (90 minutes)
This engaging session will focus on supporting children’s well-being, emotional regulation, and connection through Angela’s work and resources.

Spring Concert

We are happy to share that Spring Concert planning is underway! This year’s theme is based on the book Imagine a World by Ron Gonsalves, which connects to our school mantras.

To allow as many students as possible to participate, we will be trying something new:

  • Show #1: Afternoon of April 30
  • Show #2: Morning of May 1

Both performances will take place during the school day. Specific times and additional details will be communicated closer to the dates.

Child Safe Canada 2026 – Babysitter Program

Child Safe Canada is offering a Babysitter Program for students aged 10 and older.

  • Lunch sessions: March 9, 10, 11, 12, 16 and 17
  • Supervised by Ms. Bratko
  • Cost: $55.00
  • Payment: Cash (exact change) or cheque payable to Child Safe Canada

Registration forms will be provided to interested students and must be returned to the school office with payment.
