Weekly Update Jan. 15-19 | Cold Weather, New Staff, Spirit Day, Pink Shirt Day, School Council Meeting, I Will Try
Important Information
Cold Weather Safety
With the extremely cold weather, students are requested to dress properly for the weather and to plan to arrive at school on time, not too early. Upon arrival, we will be letting students in on days that the temperatures are at -20 degrees or colder including the wind chill.
Patrols and outdoor supervision are limited in the extreme cold. Parents are asked to be extra careful while driving through our school zone. Please be mindful that students are crossing the roads and the intersections are incredibly icy. We all want to keep our students safe.
Welcome!!
Welcome to Mrs. Cox!! Mrs. Cox will be teaching Ms. Bratko’s kindergarten class during her absence. We are excited to have you on our staff Mrs. Cox.
Spirit Day
Thursday, January 18 is our next Spirit Day. Based on the survey sent to all classes, this will be Game Day. Students are invited to bring a game to school and we will have opportunities to play those games at times chosen by the teachers.

Weekly Mantra
I will try. (SEL Competency: Responsible Decision Making, Self-Management)
What is important, is the trying. You won’t ever fail unless you stop trying. You don’t have to BE the best, just TRY your best. If you don’t try, you will never know!
