All grades are invited to choose Friday, March 22 in the morning.
Please book the day and time that works best for you. The booking system opened to families to choose a time on Thursday, March 14 at 4:00pm. Teachers will be communicating any special requests depending on the grade and the teacher. All students are invited to attend and help to share their work for these student-led conferences.
Scholastic Book Fair
We will be holding our Scholastic Book Fair next week and during conferences. Families are invited to stop by and see what is new in reading for our students. Anyone with Police Clearance that is able to volunteer for this awesome event is invited to do so through SignUp Genius.
School Development Plan and Budget Engagement
On Thursday, March 14, we shared our School Development Plan and Budget information and gathered input for future work from those in attendance. The presentation and feedback information is posted now to our website on the “School Planning and Engagement page."
Please take a minute to give us feedback on the work we are doing at the school.
Spirit Day
Our next Spirit Day is April 11. It will be Stuffie and a Flashlight Day. Students are invited to bring a favourite stuffed animal and a flashlight. Activities will be incorporated into the classroom learning. Students are reminded that stuffed animals are a personal thing and should not be shared with others. This will help keep everyone healthy.
Moving Forward, the Spirit Days for the rest of the year are
- May – Favorite Colour Day
- June – Backward/Opposite Day
We will continue with the ranked favorites list as we begin again in September before setting our new list for next school year.

Weekly Mantra
Just Breathe. (SEL Competency: Self-Awareness, Self-Management)
Breathe in, slowly… deeply… gently… breathe out. Take a breath and let the rest come more easily. Take a deep breath, it’s just a bad day, not a bad life.
