APEGA Science Night Thank You
Our Science Night on Thursday evening was a huge success. Thank you to all our families who came out to experience some fun activities and share in the Science learning of our Grade Six students.
Also, thank you to the APEGA organization for providing the experiments and sharing their love of Science and Engineering with our school community. It was great evening!!
Book Fair Appreciation
Our March book fair was a huge success! Thank you so much to all of our families and students who participated in the book fair, including all of the parent volunteers who were instrumental in making it a success.
The book fair totaled more than $12,700!!! This is incredible. As a school, this will create dividends for our school to use with Scholastic books and help to keep our library updated.
Spring Concert – Imagine a World
We are still missing a number of ticket order forms. Please be sure to submit them ASAP. We are trying to get the tickets organized and sent home with students very soon.
Parent Workshop
🌟 Parent Workshop with Author Angela Murphy – April 16, 2026
We are excited to share that Angela Murphy, author of Angela and the Wonder Pups, will be visiting our school community this spring for a special parent/guardian learning opportunity.
Thanks to collaboration between our local schools and the use of ABE grant funding, we are pleased to offer the following free parent/guardian workshop: (90 minutes)

- 🕡 6:30–8:00 PM
- 📍 MidSun School Gymnasium
This engaging evening session will focus on supporting children’s well-being, emotional regulation, and connection drawing on Angela’s work and resources through her Wonder Pups series.

Student Fees
Please be sure to check your MyCBE account on a regular basis. With more field trips happening as we head into the Spring, there will be changes to your account on a semi-regular basis, depending on which class your child(ren) are in.
Next Year Intention Form
If you have not yet completed the Next year intentions form, please do so ASAP! We use this information to plan appropriately for next year. The next year intention form can be found on your myCBE account. Please follow the instructions below:
1. Sign in to your MyCBE account
2. Click on the SchoolEngage icon
3. Select the Enrollment Intentions Form
4. Complete the form
5. Click on Submit to send the form electronically to the school

Our next meeting will be April 9, 2026, at 6:30 PM – Grade 5 is presenting.
Fun Snack is on March 19. It is Spring Cookies. Please note, there is no school for Kindergarten on this day.
Our next Spirit Day will be on Thursday April 9, 2026. We will have Career Day on this day! Students and staff are encouraged to dress as your favourite career or as a person in a career you would like to have one day.
