New Track & Field Opportunity for Elementary Students
There is a new opportunity for elementary students across Calgary. The Elementary School Track & Field City Championships will take place on Saturday, May 30 and is open to students in Grades 3–6. This event is designed to build physical literacy through fun and inclusive experiences in running, jumping, and throwing, helping to address a gap in opportunities for younger students.
If you are interested in this for your child, please see the attached brochure 2026 | Elementary Schools Championships
From the Office
Return Borrowed Clothing Please
It is Spring and the school grounds are very wet. We have supported many students with a change of clothing recently. Please be sure to wash and return any borrowed clothing at your earliest convenience.
It is a good idea, regardless of grade, for students to have a change of clothes (particularly pants) in these wet months. We often do not have larger sizes for the older students, so it becomes even more important.
Lunch Supports
We have had an increase to students requiring extra food at lunch or snack. If you need support with this, please let us know. We recognize that it is Spring and many of the students are having a growth spurt. If you are able, please add an additional snack or item to your child’s lunch right now to support them in getting through the day without being hungry.
